Basic information about our subdivision

Ascot is a residential development located off of Coursey Boulevard. The neighborhood is a single point of entrance subdivision with no through streets, thereby affecting less traffic and better privacy. The neighborhood, built circa 1993, is comprised of 116 single family homes averaging 1877 square feet. The neighborhood and surrounding area has a relatively low crime rate in Baton Rouge.

Home prices and property taxes

Homes in Ascot offer stability in price and value. The prices of homes for sale in Ascot are around $250-350K. Property taxes are generally under 2K per year. Homes for sale in Ascot typically sell in less than 90 days.

Mandatory Annual Dues

At the present time, calendar year annual dues are $85 and due by no later than April 1 of each year. On May 1, late fees will be assessed on outstanding balances in accordance with the dues policy (under HOA Information on the “About” page). Dues invoices will be mailed to homeowners around February of each year. The dues are assessed to fund the necessary expenses incurred to maintain our community. Dues will be assessed yearly to accommodate any new expenses. These expenses include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Electricity
• Lawn care and upkeep of common areas
• Seasonal landscaping and decorations
• Web site development and upkeep
• General community developments and expenses
• Accounting functions
• Legal fees
• Security
